Mnaufacturers Hull ID Number

My Hull ID # is HUN2550078M75H. Is there a guide available for translating this #? Is this a Cherubini design? Thanks for your help.

First off, your boat is a Cherubini! I think that you have Hull# 78 Manufactured in Aug of 1975.

Typo?

Is this a typographical error? Most HIN's are twelve characters. Here is a sample from the Owner's Directory:HUN25151M74HHUN25086M74E - #086, May 1974HUN2550078M75H - Your boatHUN50197M76KHUN51165M78EHUN51674M81KHUN51796M82J - #1796, September 1982Steve is correct about the month/year. It appears that they made so many that three positions(HUN25xxxMyym) was not enough. So they dropped the '2' from the '25'. But that would make yours number 50078!

A typo, or a mistake.

Thanks Ed. I just checked my registration {after finding my glasses}, and found that the number I typed in, was in fact, the same number on my registration. I'll be on the boat tommorrow so, I will lean over the back of the boat and check it out.
