Two parts missing.
Lindsay, You are missing two parts actually. That bolt holds a sleeve in that your rudder down haul line is fed around. The sleeve acts like a pulley to position the line correctly for proper deploying of the kick-up rudder. The bolt and sleeve also act as the stop for the rudder to set the proper angle. If you can locate a stainless steel bolt of the proper size and a section of stainless steel tubing that will fit in between the brackets you can make your own. Remember, the sleeve has to turn freely on the bolt so you will need a lock nut of sorts to set the proper tightness without binding.Good LuckS/V garinionDan
