Help, lost my engine zinc assembly overboard! Any suggestions as to where a replacement can be found? The part in question is the oval-shaped cast iron piece which bolts onto the side of the engine with two bolts at each end. (The zinc's bolt goes through a hole in the middle of the piece and is held by a nut and washer from the outside. I this is not a replaceable part, can a new piece be machined from stainless stock using the paper gasket as a guide? The problem with this approach might be that the bolt-hole cutouts in the gasket are slightly oversized and the bolt holes in the cap should line up exactly with the bolt holes on the engine block. I now have a gaping hole in my engine, so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated... Thanks.
