Milky/Cloudy white water

I have a 2015 Beneteau 45 and have noticed the water comes out cloudy and then clears up in about 10 seconds. It has happened since I first took delivery in April and happens from both tanks and out of any faucet. There is no unusual smell or taste. The Beneteau dealer seems not to have a clue, but I can't believe I am the first person this has happened to.

It seems to me that the pump is churning up the water and injecting it with tiny air bubbles but that's just a guess and I would like to definitively know what's going on.

I do use a filter on the hose for filling the tanks and I let the water run half a minute before starting. I also started last month treating the water with Aqua Clean Mega Tabs, but none of that has made a difference.

Any ideas or experiences would be appreciated.

1. Run the bubbly into a clear glass and let it sit to find out if it's bubbles or something else.

Thanks for the quick post. I have run the water into a clear glass and is clears up within 10 seconds or so.

This is why there are fine screens on the faucet's output, under the screw cap. Aeration.

I had the same problem this spring with my 2014 Oceanis 45. There is a filter just after the water pump. It is a small screen that you need to squeeze the sides and pop out. It was full of white debris. Once it was cleaned all the foam cleared up. Still had to clean the faucet screens also.

Wile I went through the first few tanks of water on my OC45, I had to clean the screen in the water pump each time of small plastic shavings. Maybe that is what you're seeing flow through. My suspicion is that these shaving went into the new rotomolded plastic tank when they cut the holes for the fittings. Now I check and clean the water pump screen each time I fill the fresh water tank.
