One of our members has a trimaran on a mooring ball in the cove. Lightning struck his boat and blew a hole through one of the amas. Another trimaran in a slip one year was hit and fried his electronics. Other sailboats slipped all around him. Mother Nature doesn't seem to like trimarans
I have always said, it you have a direct Lightning HIT...
Take a picture of the hole in your hull when the Insurance Company lifts the boat out of the water.
Side strikes are a different story.
