thanks.........I turned on the tv the other day and Blazing Saddles was on. It has got to be one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. that line always cracks me up. There are a few more I like but are too "politically incorrect" for this place........

I've been sitting here trying to think of the source of "Badges...we don't need no stinkin' badges." and I'm drawing a blank. It's driving me nuts. What's the source? Please?

Unless I miss my guess ,I think it is from the Steve Martin ,Marin Short comedy "The Three Amigos"

The badges line is from the Treasure of the Sierra Madre. One of the great Humphry Bogart movies. Not his line though. The rest just copied it

yes it was copied, but Blazing Saddles was far funnier

I think I'm going stir Crazy (another G. Wilder pic) I need to go sailing. But in the meantime.
