The ordeal is finally over. Midnight Sun was spashed today after six months out of the water except for the three week Mexico trip. Total yard bill north of 40K. Looking forward to next year. Anyone know if crude oil sticks to awlgrip?

I just got the last yardbill. The total for repairing the collision damage and rudder replacement and a lot of other stuff was just over $52000.00. my share was half of that, but I have a great boat.
Blaise, is that a typo? Too many zeroes?! My complete rudder project in Oriental, NC, was less than $4000. including two weeks of storage. The insurance paid all but the storage and a bottom-sanding. That was haulout, a complete new rudder using the original stainless, and the splash. Your collision damage must have been major.
The last bill also included installing the other toe rail, new cables, and painting the transom which had to be fixed after installing a temp rudder. No typo. 52K total.
