Mid-90s gel cote matching

Hello

i own and enjoy a mid-90s Hunter 23.5 trailerable. Wonderful boat, like magic.

Would like to repair some minor gel cote issues.

I took the time to research the Hunter website and found the codes, but it also states there clearly “color matching is not possible in most cases”.

So, roll the dice with that last last known product code, or hire someone to mix up a custom matched mini-batch? (I would take a rear seat hatch off, buff it, and have them match that, in their shop….that be the current plan).

Any other ideas/options.

I have done numerous minor gel coat touchups on our 1999 H-310 using pure white waxed gel coat. They are completely invisible when finished as there appears to be no fading of the factory white gel coat due to UV.

If the pre-mixed color doesn’t quite match you could consider matching it yourself. Finicky, but doable.

Call the help desk and ask for either Al or Joe. Ask them for the correct color code.
The gel coat already has wax in it so the gel will harden. Just adding gel coat without wax will not harden
Can you tell me where the areas of concern are. Photos would helpl
