Hello everyone, Has anyone been to the Miami Boat Show this year? It's going on now, until the 22nd (I think). Is it worth taking a 150 mile drive to see? I'm trying to decide if I want to go look for new toys next Monday, or sail the big toy I already have... (Note to Hunter reps: A complimentary set of tickets for two would make this decision a whole lot easier... ;o) --Jon Bastien H23 '2 Sheets to the Wind' jonbastien@yahoo.com

Got home last night after a couple of days at the show and my tails dragging today. It was pretty neat but not much different than last year. I bought a new sail and mattress for my 42 , some pots and pans to make my chef happy. I'll probably order a second arch in a couple of weeks. It's something I have planned for a year or so and I spent some time with Howard Wells planning it out. There was lots of new electronic stuff which was cool. I pined away wishing I could have the Hylas 54. The 46 was neat but not that much neater than my 42 for 200k. The HC50, hull 1, was there. It looked mighty unfinished inside but I guess it's still a sort of prototype. I asked about a dozen power related companies about fuel cells and they all looked at me like I was from Mars. One would think at least one would be up to date on the technology and its direction.
