I posted a message that I thought my muffler was leaking, but did'nt know where it was. You responded that it was under the fuel tank. How do you remove the fuel tank? Mine is strapped down with nylon straps. Thanks for the help. Bob

Have not had to pull mine.

Bob: I have not had to pull mine YET. But I think that you can just cut the straps. This is probably the same material that they use for palletizing material. The only problem that you may have is finding the device to retension the material when you put the tank back. This will also give you a good chance to clean out your fuel tank if you have not already done so. Just pump the fuel into a couple of jerry cans and you can clean out the fuel tank too. You may need to do this just to lift the fuel tank out of the way. If you are not sure about the material, contact Hunter and ask them. I find that phone calls work well there. Please take pictures of the procedure so you can put an article on the photo forum if you can. You can make this a two in one article. How to clean your fuel tank and check your muffler connection too. Sorry I cannot be of too much more help.

Work out without removing fuel cell

Try to work out the muffler without removing the fuel cell. If you must remove the cell have a yard replace the muffler. It's cheaper and less of a headache.
