Merriman Pedestal

I'm looking at purchasing an 1984 Hunter 31 and I'm interested in knowing if the Edson offset pedestal guard will fit/mount ok with the Merriman pedistal. The pedestal guard has a top plate that attaches it to the pedestal if I'm not mistaken. Is that top plate universal or specific to Edson?I'm also interested in knowing if Bowmar/Gray port parts a available, especially the clear plastic port & screen. Thanks for the assistance. Chet

Edson Top Plate must be drilled

for mounting on a Merriman pedistal. The Edson Top Plate O.D. is slightly smaller, about 1/4' than Merriman pedistal O.D.
