Mechanics repair Manuel for Yanamar SB8

I have a 1978 Hunter 27 with a YanmarSB8 engine. Does anyone know where I can purchase a mechanics repair manual? I’m talking about the heavy-duty repair manual that has all of the schematic diagrams

Service Manual & Parts List

I bought the Service Manual from Mack Boring (but try elsewhere if you can get a better deal). The fellow I spoke with by phone when ordering the Service Manual suggested the Parts List would come in handy. He was right; having the parts numbers and diagrams has saved me time and avoided ordering the wrong part. Both books cost a total of around $100. Good luck!

I bought my manual from Torreson (maybe Torresen) Marine. I bought it online for about 15 or 20 bucks.Nice people, had impellers and a few other things I needed in stock.The Yanmar manual is not very detailed and does not explain function very well.I am an auto mechanic and expect service manuals to provide a little insight into why things are like they are. Sometimes you need to know why it works a certain way to make a diagnosis.Justin Meddock
