MD6A sea water/fresh water circuit

Hello again,

My MD6A is fresh water cooled and I have
one basic question regarding the sea/fresh water circuits:

The external electrical pump should be mounted in
the sea water circuit or the fresh water circuit ?

I was sure the electrical pump was pumping sea water,
but now I am told the opposite....

The electric pump usually circulates fresh water. The standard
mechanical pump circulates teh sea water as standard. This is only my
opinion so I can be sure.
