Hi.
I'm grateful to Claude for his tip re the above (loosening nut etc &
using engine compression to free the retaining brackets).
Before I go ahead and remove injectors & bring in to get new nozzles &
have injectors cleaned:
Is there anything else I need to remember?
My planned sequence:
1 free retaining brackets
2 disconnect fuel feed pipes - to allow injectors to be removed??
3 undo the 2 nuts that hold the injectors in
4 remove the 2 injectors
Is step 4 just a matter of removing the retaining brackets and then
sliding injectors out, or is there more to it?
Is there a gasket between the retaining brackets and the engine?
Should it be replaced with paper gasket or copper? Thanks,
John
