md6a fuel lift pump current

Hello,

I worked last weekend on the electrical installation
of "Lotta" and I discovered that the fuel
lift pump of my MD6A is protected with a 20 amps fuse.

Is the current draw of such a pump really that large ?
To me it seems that the cables would not stand that much...

Marcin,

What's the wire size going to the pump? If it is 14 AWG or larger you should be fine with
the 20 amp fuse. You can always check the current draw of the pump with a multimeter.
