MaxProp Pitch Setting

I am trying to get more information regarding the proper pitch setting for an 18" MaxProp. Currently the pitch is set at 13 degrees, however, I can no longer bring the RPM up to normal running speed. Is there a better pitch setting for a MaxProp?

Roger; I'm under the impression that the pitch would be the same as the fixed prop you replaced if the diameter, and the number of blades are the same. Then you would try setting the pitch higher or lower to meet your desired needs. By the way pitch is measured in inches, not degrees. Mike
