maximum capacity of equipment & people

I recently purchased a used 1983 O'day 25 with an inboard diesel. While I was able to find the sleeping capacity for the boat (5 people), I cannot the maximum amount of people I can take on the boat for a day sail or a combination of equipment and people in pounds.

Weight is not always a concern

Neal, You said you have an O'Day 25. My O'Day 272 should only sleep 5 people. Two in V-berth, one on starboard settee, and one - two in port aft berth. But for your general purposes, I think you should look at the situation more in terms of safety and fun rather than poundage of gear
