Trying to install a new Max Prop 3 blade classic. After installation, the blades are very stiff and will never feather by the water drag. PYI Yacht asked me to first cut the end of the prop shaft so no threads are showing, but that didn't help. Next step they said is to shave the edges of the nut to make sure the cone gears seats properly. Still may be too much grease inside. Way too much friction. Seemed to work fine without grease and without being installed on prop shaft. Has anyone had similar issues?
