Why would you doubt the PYI recommendation? They're the Max Prop experts. Plus, the Beneteau recommendation is for a fixed-blade prop, not a feathering prop with flat blades.

+1 on PYI. We had our maxprop installed at the factory. They had the wrong pitch set. PYI immediately diagnosed the problem - sent me the correct settings. Difference was 1/2kt faster at lower rpm
The Max-Prop pitch is adjustable. You adjust it to make make sure your engine reaches rated speed. Which depends on it's current shaft power output. I have the 3 blade classic. Good kit.
