I went for my first solo sail last night. While I was out the previous owner of the sailboat motored up along side and told me how happy he was to see her out and that he was glad to see her in such good shape. There are only a handful of very special times in our lives. This was one for me!

Glad to hear that a new owner is taking good care of their new boat, as most do & should be rewarded for by their boats' longenvity & reliability. The current owner/ buyer of my ol' S 2 racer totally destroyed what was a beautifully restored bristol conditioned sailboat. It's really heartbreaking to see a fool destroy a good boat through willful negligence & abuse. This idiot tore up top notch North sails, stripped out a Harken Roller furling, cracked the main lexan hatch in half, tore out the stanchions & lifelines getting hung up on a dock piling & more. To top it off, he burned up a good Yanmar diesel through overheating it, broke his son's arm, & nearly drowned one of his passengers during one of his many mishaps. They say a fool & his money are soon parted, but too bad my ol' boat had to pay the price for it!

What a great endorsement from the PO!! ~ When we bought our boat there were 3 higher offers than ours. The PO's chose us as they were not only selling the boat but adopting her out. The boat had taken them safely from SF to Mexico, Hawaii and back and they wanted her to move on to someone who knew what they and the boat were capable of and would love and care for the boat that protected them on their journey.
