I need some help on matching the teak in the cabin of our boat. I have tried many different combinations of stain and bleach but so far nothing matches. Can someone help me out?Gen JonesFairwindLegend 45
I have a '88 Legend 37. I had the same problem and Hunter put me in tune with Daly's Seafin Teak Oil. I hear that West Marine sells it now, but I had to contact Daly's direct in Seattle and/or Bellevue, WA. Use a search engine and search for "Daly's Home Improvement Center" to get their number. I used it on some new teak cabinets that I had made in the pilot berth and had a perfect match.BTW, check the Photo Forum and search for "teak cabinets" to see a picture.
I had the same problem with a new cabinet face on my 37.5. I used Daly's Sea-Fin to get the luster to match but it's taken about a year for the color on the new teak to fade just a bit. It's still different but much less noticeable.Jim"Prospect"
