I have an annoying little problem to address. I need to get the housing of my masthead light open, and I'm having the darndest time trying to figure out how to open the silly thing up! Does anyone know the secret? -BVE
Bill on a number of boats that I have surveyed I have had a similar problem with getting the housing off of the navigation lights that aren't working. It almost seems as if they are glued on! What I have done in the past is use a very thin flat bladed screwdriver between the housing the base and apply some increasing pressure until it pops up a little bit and then work the screw driver around the light. You need to be careful as it will break if you apply too much pressure I hope this helps Charlie
