I bought a 30 foot with no mast does any one know the dimensions ...where I might find them or where I might find a used one...also need a manual

Check out usspars.com. They furnished masts for most Hunters and the prices aren't bad for a new rig. They're out of Gainesville FL so I don't know how convenient that is to you, but you should view their website and perhaps phone them. If they didn't supply Hunter the original mast, they could hook you up with a replacement, as well as the boom, spreaders etc.

The hight of 1991 Hunter 30 from the water level to the top of the mast is 50 feet (for the Hunter 30T -the tall version) P=40'7 - from the boom to the top mast, E=12'6 - boom lenght. This Hunte also has a fractional rig (7/8 -if I am not mistaken). Contact Hunter for the copy of the manual which has all the pictures and dimentions. Hope this helps. I also bought a Hunter 30 with no rig, but I will be retrofiting the mast and boom from a new C&C 99 anly because I got it for a good price and it is overall a stronger spar than the original Hunter.

You might want to check with Rig-Rite, Inc.63 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI 02886www.RigRite.com My mast is made in France. RigRite had partsfor mine in stock. They do sell complete mast.Good Luck

Charleston Spar

The original spar on this boat was made by Isomat, which is French, and available through Rig-rite, Inc. in RI. I have called them several times, and they have been very helpful.I also talked with the Hunter factory, and they are referring people to Charleston Spar (SC) for replacements.Between the two sources, you should do all right.

I just placed an order this week for a mast from USSpars. (They built the masts for Hunter, 1993 33.5.) I've seen some way out prices posted here for replacements like $11,000.00 for the mast and rigging. My 33.5 mast is 48' long with rigging less than $5,000.00.
