Mast Wiring Question for O'Day 22

Hello fellow sailers! I am finishing up a wiring project and the last piece involves running new wire (or troubleshooting the existing wire) up to the steaming light on my O'Day 22 mast. I'm attaching a photo of the bottom of the deck-stepped mast. Question: Does anyone know if the O'Day 22 mast has conduits inside? Do the metal cylinders shown in the bottom of the mast represent a way to access the conduit? Thanks for any input!

Might start with Rudy at D&R Marine. Best to call him, he's usually too busy for email, but here's the website: D & R Marine Also, they probably stopped building 22s around 1983 before they went out of business in '89.

That's a great idea. I just called him and he basically said there's no conduit in the mast and it's going to be a challenge to fish any wires. He gave me a couple ideas though. Thanks!
