Mast Wedges Hello all I am in need of a mast wedge for my Pearson P36-2. The ones that are there...only 3, are wood. My mast is an Isomast. I saw one company that makes them, however the size was not right. The wedges that I do have are wood right triangles with "steps" cut into the sloped side. Any help with this, or what others have would be greatly appreciated as always. Greg P36-2 #101 Four the Soul

Mast Wedges

Greg, You shoud have at least four wedges, six is preferred. Rubber wedges are better than wood (they squirm out less). Rig-rite stocks rubber wedges for the Isomat mast and ring. Try www.rigrite.com. We put in Spartite about ten years ago and have not touched it since. It stopped all the squeaks and most of the small rain drips. A little Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure stopped all the drips.

They carry all the parts for Isomat spars. A little strange to do business with - you can't always get them on the phone. Sometimes you have to email or fax your order. They usually call to confirm and give you the price. I have dealt with them a couple times and have always gotten prompt service.
