How do you tension D2, I have a stemball on one end and a marine eye on the other. The only way I can figure is when you put tension on V1 and RD1 thru use of there turnbuckles the resulent vector is applied to D2. I use as a reference Http://kobernus.com/H260_/checklists.htm and Http://ayesail.net/sailing/MAST_TENSIONING_PROCEDURE.htm Thanks John

I've always assumed that D2 and V1 will have the same tension.

D2 will take care of itself!

Not sure what D2 tension will be, but if you adjust the lower part of the upper shroud as it should be, D2 will be fine. Each spring, before raising the mast, I check all the standing rigging, looking for kinks, loose strands, bent terminals/buckles, corosion, etc. fair winds, Tom
