Every spring we get quite a few calls regarding mast trim. Our friends at Selden Mast have this primer and I've uploaded it for you to review. Selden has and does produce some masts for Beneteau, though here in the USA most are built by Z-Spars.
However, this guide will walk you through the fundamentals of rig tuning....and specifically Beneteau type rigs: single spreader swept and double spreader swept aft configurations.
This may have been posted before, but for new owners or others, print the pertinent sections for your rig type and stuff them in your owners manual on the boat!
***Note: The Selden file is too big to upload, so I have taken the liberty reduce this guide to their overview and the mast types specific to Beneteau (aft swept spreader configurations) and removed pages on inline spreaders, booms et cetera.
