I spoke with Julian at US Spars about replacing my mast step and deck plate (tapered Z190 mast) with the the new style. He said that it requires a spacer to take up the extra space that will exist between the old style and the new. Does anyone know how thick this spacer needs to be? I will make it out of aluminum plate. Thanks Lee
