Mast step shift

I've noticed on my C22 that it appears the mast step is off-center. I took the mast down, resealed the two bolts that secure the step, tightened them and stepped the mast. I used a wire gauge to set the shrouds and it still looks as if it's moved again. Anyone else had this issue? Aside from pulling her back out and repeating all the steps, does anyone have a solution? Chap

Forward mast bolt

Is your forward and smaller mast bolt through bolted? Through bolting this bolt may eliminate your problem.

Yes, both bolts go through and bolt inside the cabin at the mast support.
