mast shives

Does anyone know where I can get new shives/ pulleys for the
masthead? I dropped one in the mast and don't plan on un-stepping for
a while. Steven ????

I have tried west and numerous other places. Nobody has the right
size and the mast head will only except that size.

Try Schaefer - they have a wide assortment in their catalog. You may have to
remachine the center hole or bush it for a smaller size, but that's the easy

You could always hang a suitable size block at the masthead and run the halyard through that. That will at least get you sailing until you are able to unstep the mast and retrieve the lost shieve.
