Mast Shimmy Ribration

We have a Catalina 36 Mkll 2006 newly aquired. We find above 12knots of wind at anchor, we get loud noisy ribration of the mast which reverberates at times into the hull. Can anyone tell us if they have experienced this and what they suggest works to rectify it. Thanks
