mast raising

Okay - on a much discussed topic. Has anyone tried the mast rasing crane at www.sailboatmasts.com? Looks interesting but of course they're demoing with a SouthCoast 22. I used to have one of those and I didn't need a crane device or any other help. But it looks interesting. Feedback?

how you do that w/o the crane? how could you stable the boat so you can raise the mast w/o falling into the water??
