Mast raising with roller furling on Hunter Edge

I am the new owner of a 2009 Hunter 27 Edge and am puzzled by the installation instructions for the mast raising and roller fuller install. Both steps involve using the jib halyard and I don't understand how the halyard is available for the roller fuller if it is being used to raise the mast. Thank you for any help you can provide.

The furler that we have is the Sea Flex by Hood Yacht Systems.
