DAVID CRIBB H35.6 Melbourne
Am in desperate need of a mast raising system for a 1994 Hunter 23.5. I can make one if I have some idea of what they look like and the measurements. Length of cables and where they attach on the mast and where the pole attaches to the mast and mast halyard. If anyone has any info I would be greatly appreciative. I can be contacted at 321-917-7866 anytime or dcribb@cfl.rr.com Thanks so much!:dance:http://forums.hunter.sailboatowners.com/images/smilies/advanced/dance.gif

Please describe the size of the hole in the forward lower of the mast. There are two wires with a T hook on one end and a pelican hook on the other. There should be two about 5-6 feet long. If not the originals were made by Seco South in the Tampa-St. Pete area of Florida. Is there a long either aluminum or stainless steel pole in the boat. Please let us know and I will call you..

Also, go to the above boat information and click on the 23.5. You will see downloads, click on that and open up the owners manual. This will be a start to famialize that system. I will call Tuesday or Wednesday.

I spoke with this fellow today and he has neither the mast raise pole nor the bridle wires. He has been advised where to get the bridle wires. It also appears the mast was replaced as there are no holes for the t bolts nor the pole to go into. The boat is in Melburne, Florida.

Anyone out there near this gentleman has a 23.5 that he can come and take a look at?

In addition, I need some input. Length of the pole, size of the pole/material made from and size of the hole on the front of the mast and how far up from the bottom of the mast for the hole. I would appreciate some help here so we can help this fellow.
