Hi Brion,I appreciate all of the rigging information that you are giving us. The Hunter B&R system is appearing to be more complicated than most realize including myself. I have a h29.5 with no backstay, fractional, large roach main with full battens, small 110 jib, two sweptback spreaders and six continuous wires to the deck. Some h29.5's have only one spreader. After tunning my rigging several times I have found that the amount of pre-bend dramatically affects the mainsail shape. The Hunter manual recommends 4 - 6". I can only get about 3" and would like to get a couple of more and the local sailmaker says I need more. I have the correct rake of 12 - 16". In your response to Ian McGain's question you mentioned that continuous wires should not be tensioned the same. That is exactly what I have discovered. I currently have the uppers at 15%, the intermediates at 8% and lowers at 5%. This is what was needed to maximize the pre-bend. How can I get more pre-bend and what is the relationship of the intermediate and lower wire tensions to the pre-bend.Thanks for your help,Monty
