mast lights

Neither steaming or anchor light works on my 27' 1980 sloop. I believe they are on two separate fuses--the steaming on a running light breaker and the anchor light on the 'masthead light' breaker. WIth both of them out, I am suspicious there is a problem with the mast wires since replacing fuses didn't work. Any ideas? With the jumble of wires, I don't even know which ones serve the mast (they weren't marked when I bought the boat.) Thanks for any help

Clean connections

Hi, I just checked over my mast lights and I found that on my smaller boat, the mast harness to deck connection was in need of cleaning as well as the bulb connections in the light fixtures on the mast.
