I've read some of the forums but not able to find my answer. My mast light is not working. Checked the fuses and the bulbs. They are ok. I then took apart the male end of the deck connector and have discovered that the black wire connector has come undone. I have no clue how to take this small little item apart to attach the black wiring and fearful of attempting until I've talked to someone who has done so. How do I get inside of this little item?

Usually the place to check first before the bulbs

Describe your deck connector please...

Get Rid of It

There is a stud screwed in the side of the thing that will allow the metal cover to slide ud the wire and enable you to get at the plastic peice with the connectors in it. But, if you have already gone that far just replace the damn thing as they are a constant source of trouble with the mast lights. I replaced mine with an Aqua Signal brand from West Marine and have had no trouble with theconnections since.

Getting rid of it!

Thanks for the feedback ... I think the simpliest thing to do is replace it. It's always getting in the way of the boomvang anyway ... so the new Aqua Signal plug connector should eliminate future problems. Reena
