does anyone know the manufacturer of the mast on a 1984 hunter 34. its the almost rectangle type. does anyone also know of a used one with shrouds , stays, spreaders, ect. and a used headsail for a furling system.

Good luck w/ the search for used as a friend w/ a 30' 1980 Hunter is just now being re-masted after losing his mast, and the entire '07 sailing season, during his river trip to harbor last spring (something about the bridge not completely open or veering off course; either way, mast & bridge made contact). He put a national search effort into play for a used replacement, lost his season and finally caved in last fall and bought new. Hope you have better results. Good luck with your search efforts.

Kenyon or Isomat
Both Kenyon & Isomat have been used on Hunter 31's and on 28.5's. They have different spreaders, different mast head, gosneck and exit sheave fittings, and slightly different moment of inertia and cross sections. You need to get everything from ONE source.
