OK, I got the whole mast grounding bit from a couple of books but what do I do when all the keel bolt threads have rusted away???

Check under the nuts.
Check under the nuts. I've found that the threads there are usually like new and the corrosion is limited to the end of the bolt only. If they're truly corroded away, you need new keelbolts anyway, and then you'll be all set to ground. Larry Wilson
