Recently bought an S2 11.0 and had the mast stepped for inside storage. When removing the mast there’s a dense rubberish gasket that was taken out. Is anybody familiar with this? Internet search and West Marine have not been helpful. Thanks borg

Will update with pic...left it on the boat though. It fits as a seal on the cabin top. Very old material, pretty sure not spartite.
My 1983 S2 11.0 is missing the rubber deck top mast opening seal as well. Any suggestions on where to get a replacement or how to properly fill and create a watertight seal with the OEM rubber gasket gone!?
Try waterboot.com. They work well and are easy to install, unlike the vinyl ones that slide over the mast. A cover can easily be made to protect the gasket.
