DRMarine.com has the mast and everything else needed I know, got them bookmarked. Have not called them yet as they are on the east coast. Trying to locate one a little closer to home, Northern California would be nice :)

Perhaps a comparable spar that I can cut to length and add stock end pieces to? I have the rigging and boom etc though I will be replacing some or most of it soon.

Thanks~Craig

While not Northern Cal, perhaps this one in Seattle area might be worth checking out. A couple feet too long but perhaps could be modified? And a little closer than Mass.

It's registered as a 1978 but I would feel more comfortable if I could find a way to run the Hull ID number and verify that. There are 2 mast possibilities and want to buy the right one first. As opposed to my normal MO of buying something 3 times and still not having the right part.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm still scouring Craigslist for any mast on the west coast preferably. Call me cheap but I'd rather pick it up myself rather than ship cross country. Although I could always try putting it on UShip if the price is right. Current plan is to just putt around on the outboard until I find a way to hoist the laundry and have some real fun.

If something doesn't fall out of the sky and land on me in the next couple months I may just bite the bullet and buy a new one from DRM...
