Mast fell over - help

I own an O'Day Day Sailor hull 20268, class 3752 which I believe was built > around 1980. The mast fell over the other day damaging the part at the > base of the mast, a hinged part shaped something like a heart or pear, > which is screwed into the hull and onto which the mast fits allowing a pin > to attach the two. I have been unable to identify the name of this part > nor where to obtain one. I did obtain a "mast hinge" from Cape Cod > Shipbuilders as noted in the Day Sailor 2000 magazine which was not the > correct part. Any thoughts?

You should be able to get everything you need from D&R marine. Rudy is the old O'day parts manager and a great guy.
