I'm sorry I don't have pictures - maybe I can dig them up. I did this repair a few years ago and had an engineer do the math on replacing the wood with plastic decking 2x4's. I wanted to make sure plastic would not compress and cause problems. Wood in the bilge is a mistake if you ask me. A friends 1980's Catalina 30 had the job done with a small stainless jack - adjustable so he could put it in the spot and adjust it up. Then they filled the area with expandable foam. When the time came to sell the boat the foam was water soaked and they had to dig the foam out to see the repair but the sale went through after seeing the repair.
