Hi All,
I'm new to the Albin Vega, and was wondering about mast support and
compression problems. I have what appears to be a slight sag in the
otherwise nice curve of the bulk head support/ roof area directly
below the mast. My head door, when swung out to close off the forward
part of the cabin sticks about half way because it comes against the
the beam(that I assume supports the weight of the mast).
Now I know that I can shave the top of the door, but that won't
exactly fix the problem.
My guestion is, do I really have a problem here, and if so what are
my options? Is this amount of sag(compression) acceptable or should
it be remedied? If it needs to be repaired, what are the best ways of
going about it?
Thanks,
Robert
