Mast Collar

I am in the process of trying to find and install a mast collar on my 37 cutter, so I can run my outhaul, cunningham, vang controls etc back to the cockpit. I saw a nice mast collar on a Catalina 36 that allowed you to attach blocks - just up my alley, but I seem to be unable to find it online. The hole in the deck that my mast goes through is 6x9, the mast is a Kenyon mast - 5280 I believe. Any help, along with pictures, pitfalls etc would be greatly appreciated.

Not required.

You really do not need a collar. Simply replace the partner bolts with eye bolts, the kind with the shoulder. I think they are 2.5 inches but remove one to be certain. My vang has been attached that way for years. I have the blocks, deck organizers, clutches, and winches to do what you want to do. Just dragging my feet because I love a clean deck.

Good idea! What do you do to seal the hole the mast goes through? If the bolts have eyes you cant use the sleeve type...
