Do all catalina 30s have mast base problems or is it specfic years 86-89 ? If so is this something that needs to be corrected right away ? How do you tell? thanx

Well, I wouldn't say that all C30s have a mast step problem but I would say that if yours has a problem, it would be wise to get it repaired sooner rather than later. You'll also want to determine the cause of the problem - and what the problem itself is, since you didn't really describe it. LaDonna
