Is the mast suppose to point to the rear of the boat? I look at others in the port and you can pick mine out very easily. Is this right? Is is suppose to be straight up and down?
Generally, mast should have slight rake aft. This allows boat to upwind when wheel is released resulting in boat stalling and then falling back on wind and repeating this sequence.
