I was just given a 17' Oday by a man who flipped it, broke the mast and lost the tiller. Any recommendations on where I could pick up either one at a relatively modest price, yet without compromising the quality? I have been sailing a widgeon in the ocean for years and love it but would like to venture a bit further out.

I too moved up from a WIDGEON to my DS II, sailed the Widgeon for 6 years out of Wareham, MA on Buzzards Bay. The DS II is a lot more comfortable! (I still "miss" my Widgeon sometimes...... but wouldn't trade back down!)
