My friends and I are planning a bareboat charter to Martinque with a side trip to St. Lucia next year. According to my friends, they have heard that there are a lot of problems in St. Lucia regarding very nasty natured "boat people" who try to push themselves off on you to "watch your boat" while you're away and being very pushy about trying to sell their wares. We are for sure going to Martinque, however, because of this information, the trip to St. Lucia is still in question. Anybody ever been there and if so, any problems? Thanks, J.B.
