Have recently moved from my 83 Hunter 34 up to a 2001 Passage 420. What a wonderful boat! Hope I can gleen some info from this group on some upgrade ideas.

The question at hand: Has anyone here installed MarTek Dinghy Davits on their Passage 420? I know that the Ocean Systems Davits were the ones Hunter offered as an option for this model. The Martek davits look pretty good and there is a bit of a price break over the OS ones. Any who know?

BTW, I saw the Ocean Systems davits on Buck420's L'Attitude today. They do look well built.

Any photos of the MarTeks on a 420 would be great

I don't have any personal experience with davits, but have you looked at the Garhauer Marine units. They are generally well made and have a reasonable price & warranty. They also do custom fabrication if you need something special.

my Garhauer deck crane is beautifully built- a real quality unit- very happy wih it!

I have not looked into the Garhauer units but certianly will. Thanks for the tip. Do you have a photo of that deck crane on your 42 that you could share to give me an idea of what it would look like?
